It bath time.....

Alexandrea was able to take her first 'real' bath tonight since her umbilical cord finally fell off...she did a great job...she liked the water running on her while I was washing her up....she wasn't so fond of getting her hair washed, but she managed...I can't believe that she is already 3 weeks old...as of today...and she is changing everyday...since we are getting another snow storm tomorrow... and my husband will be working from home...I will set up a little fashion show / photo shoot ...she has so many adorable dresses and clothes that I would love to try on her...hope you enjoy the pictures....

It has been 2 whole days where I have been alone with my baby girl...since my husband went back to work and my mom returned home....and I just love it...we do miss daddy...but we are having a great time...we sing songs...steal kisses...play with the puppies...eat and poop...I love how she changes everyday...and finds new things to do...such as playing with her tongue...putting her fingers in her mouth...

Motherhood...what a great ride

What can I say...it has been a crazy but wonderful ride over the past 8 days...she is a blessing to our family and I can't stop looking at her...people kept telling me..."a child will change your life"...I always knew it would, but I didn't understand to what degree...she is all I think about and I drive myself crazy making sure I am doing the right things...thank god that my mother has been here to help me...she raised 4 girls on her own....WOW....I was able to take a few shots of her today while she was awake...little Miss Alexandrea loves to sleep...she has the biggest eyes and I love to kiss her mouth...she looks just like my husband...hope you enjoy.....

SHE HAS ARRIVED......

I know that it has been awhile since I have blogged...but I have good reason...her name is Alexandrea Mariesa Walpurgis...and she is my precious new love...She was born on January 6, 2009 at 2:38 a.m and she is just perfect...I have selected a few images that I was able to capture..being in the bed and a few my husband took because the nurse told me to focus on myself and put the camera down...I wanted to document every moment...and she was a great model...her official photo shoot will be this weekend and I will be posting that soon...thank you to everyone that called or wrote on my facebook...my family really appreciates it...hope you enjoy...

Ending 2008 in style.....

WOW...I can't believe that 2009 is here and I have so much to look forward too...A baby is right around the corner...I can actually count the days on my 2 hands...well that is if she wants to come out on time...I am also excited about the decision I made to follow my dream of becoming a photographer...I have some things lined up for the next couple of months...however...my main focus will be on my little girl...I can't wait to meet her....

Well 2008 was a great year...I did some amazing things in both my personal life and with my photography...I shared some great times with friends and family and also made some new friends along the way...I love that...making friends...it reminds me that there are good people still out there...and I also had great opportunities to be involved in beautiful weddings and just capturing moments for the people that I love....Hope everyone had a great New Year..here are some images of mine and my husbands favorite game....Mexican train...we had some friends come over and had a blast...CHEERS 2009......
