I wish I could eat a Fenway Frank.....

What...really...stolen base at home plate...can you say...play of the year...or should I say player of the year...Jacoby...what a hottie...and he ain't a bad baseball player either...what a great series and we finally put our brooms away..after sweeping it...Alexandrea just loved her first games...against the Yankees...and she was sad to see it over....

Sleepover 2009.....

This past weekend, we dog sat for our favorite friend, Jewel....we just love her...we have known her since she was a little puppy and dempsey and mitzie just love to play with her...the weather was perfect for the dogs to play outside most of the days and I was able to grab some pictures of them...however, Jewel would of rather me throw the ball...then take her picture...

Demspey would have a tennis ball with him all the time...but no balls in the house...mom's rule...







Mitzie slept or sun bathed most of the time the others played...

What a weekend....pictures everywhere..it started on Friday with a family session, this time I was on the other side of the camera...thanks again Eric Foley...then Saturday, Dempsey was the main attraction...he had some friends over to party like rock stars...well actually only some played around..others were a bit nervous with all of the different types of dogs there...but they all had fun...I think the ice-cream was the big hit...they all ate it down...Sophie wanted to eat the entire cup and all...thanks to everyone who came and also for the nice gifts...Dempsey loves them all...and so does Mitzie...here are some pictures of the day...I am sorry to say that I didn't get any picture of Jewel that I liked...but she is one of Dempsey's oldest friends...


Oliver and Cooper stayed by mom and dad's side most of the day...but we were so glad they came...




Sophie was a trooper...I don't think she stopped once...well maybe a few minutes to eat her ice-cream...





Thor was great...he is so gentle with all of the dogs...





Dempsey and Sophie ran for hours after the ball...




Dempsey enjoyed the rough house play he did with Thor...Dempsey is usually the biggest dog around....not next to Thor though...




Thanks again everyone for sharing in Dempsey special day...it meant a lot to him, me and Kenny...we have such great friends...stop by anytime...

10 years and still running strong...

I can't believe that it has been ten years since he was trying so hard to jump on the bed.... but he was too small to reach...or when he used to put both front paws in the water bowl...and then tramp around the house...he looked just like scrappy-do when the day we brought him home...it is amazing the bond you can have with an animal...he just knows everything about me...we have been through a lot together and he never judged me...he only made me smile....

big plans are being made for this weekend..he will be having a birthday party on Saturday with 6 of his good friends...there will be pictures to follow...

Happy Birthday Dempsey..thank you for 10 great years...and never giving up on me....
